This privacy policy describes how the Movallo app (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Who we are

Movallo is a language learning app with an AI tutor. Contact: movalloai@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: email, name (or nickname), password in encrypted form — for registration and sign-in.
• Learning data: progress, exercise results, chosen languages and levels — for personalising lessons and analytics.
• Voice and audio data: voice recordings during pronunciation exercises and AI conversations — used only to process your response and improve service quality within the session; we do not store voice recordings long-term for identification.
• Camera permission (CAMERA): if you grant permission, the camera may be used for app features (e.g. video exercises or scanning). We do not store video recordings without your consent.
• Technical data: device type, OS version, interface language — for stability and crash analytics.

3. Why we use this data

We use collected data to: provide personalised lessons and AI dialogues, improve service quality, technical support, account security and legal compliance. Voice and images are processed for learning features and are not used for third-party advertising based on voice or image.

4. Storage and security

Data is transmitted over secure channels (HTTPS). Passwords are stored in encrypted form. We apply reasonable retention periods and delete or anonymise data when it is no longer needed for the service or as required by law.

5. Third parties

We may use services for hosting, analytics and payment processing. These providers have access only to necessary data and are required to meet confidentiality and security requirements.

6. Your rights

You have the right to: obtain a copy of your data, correct inaccuracies, delete your account and personal data, withdraw consent where it is the basis for processing. 7. Children

The service is not intended for persons under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data of children without parental consent.

8. Policy changes
